Slow and steady wins the race

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year.

I am a very lucky woman indeed, I have been given the tremendous gift of a donation, resulting in me having around 80% of the money for my prosthetic. I am so incredibly thankful and I can't even begin to express my joy/appreciation/excitement for what this means to me.
Combining this with the previous fundraising I'm so very close! I'm £1500 away from achieving my dream and I'm so very excited that it is now within reach! So, I have 3 months to raise this amount as I'm booked in at the clinic for mid-March 2012...
Now the real pressure is on. I'm trying to work out events and fundraisers I can do in this short amount of time and I would really appreciate and ideas that you may have, this is crunch time. I feel confident that we can pull this off, one way or another. So please, don't hesitate to get in touch, I could use all the help I can get with this. You can get in contact with me at: cammylea123@btinternet.com

Slow progress on the website, I'm finally going to get it set up (fingers crossed within a week!), I've been so preoccupied the last few weeks I haven't managed to get it done, but now is the time to get going.

Also, I'm narrowing down the charity I want to raise money for, which is proving to be a very difficult decision as there are so many deserving causes out there but I think I've finally narrowed it down to two. More information to follow.

Here's to a year of love, happiness and reaching our goals, no matter how daunting they may seem.
